Caltex Rainbow Moon and Uncle Barney’s Garage in Mahikeng saw their community, their people,
struggling to put food on the table as the Lock Down took away the ability for most of the
community to provide for their families. Mr. Mark Niemand, the Retailer at both these filling
stations, has been involved in previous projects in the community such as school soccer
tournaments and with this sad picture before them they decided to step up and try to help ease
some of the worries by putting together food parcels.
With the help of the CSA’s they distributed these food parcels within the community.
